Listed below are some more case studies, which do not fit in with the main body of this site - almost entirely because the affected plants are not cereal crops but grasses, reeds, rushes and general undergrowth, or occasionally some other type of vegetation. In all other respects they fit the definition of 'crop circle'.
It is true to say that the main context in which these early cases could be interpreted was in relation to UFOs. A good many of the cases below have UFO connections, but we believe this is accountable by the fact that similar events wihtout UFO stories attached, had no place at which they would naturally be recorded. Only the UFO accounts are likely to be documented and survive.
We have no view on the UFO subject and are not especially interested in it. Instead, we wish to focus here on the associated circles. The events are grouped by geography for ease.
